2012 Summer Camps

 

BAVA will offer camps during the summer for various skill and age levels.  Please see the information below for each camp.  Email us with any questions! info@bayvolleyball@.com

Already registered, but need to pay for camp?  A couple options:

Beginner Camps

The beginner camps are a great way to learn volleyball skills.  Please register early, space is limited!  The camps are appropriate for girls and boys who are in grades 4-8 and fairly new to the sport of volleyball.  Camps will be coached by BAVA coaches.  Campers will need to bring plenty of water.

Serving Camp

This is a one day camp for anyone wishing to improve their serving skills.  Numerous types of serves will be taught during this one day camp.  Players will learn various types of serves, including, underhand, standing floater, standing topsin, jump float, and jump serve.  Coach Mike Bossom from Goucher College will be instructing the camp.  Campers will need to bring plenty of water.

Individual Skill Camps

The skills camps will be one to four day camps, depending on the skill.  Campers will work on position specific skills for certain evenings, then come together for game play on the final night.  Campers should be entering grade 8-12 and must have at least one year of experience on a club or high school team to participate.  Coaches Mike Bossom and Jamie Leventry from Goucher College will be instructing the camp, plus current BAVA coaches.  Campers will need to bring plenty of water.  Campers should only register for one skill, as the times will overlap for the various skills.

High School Team Camp

The camp is designed for high school teams looking to prepare for the Fall 2012 season.  Camp will be coached by Mike Bossom, head coach at Goucher College, and other local club and high school coaches.  Team members should discuss registration with their teammates, then each register individually through the link below.  Teams need a minimum of 8 players to attend.
