Here are some resources for helping in the College Recruiting process.  If you are interested in playing volleyball in college, please tell your coaches and your parents!  Your parents, coaches, and BAVA will be willing to help you with the process, but the responsibility lies with you, the player!

INFORMATIVE WEBSITES

College Board
This site will give you a simple way to search for schools that meet certain criteria.  Some of the criteria include size, distance from home, majors, sports, cost, etc.

University Athlete
If you are interested in playing volleyball in college, you should register at University Athlete. This is a free website where you create a volleyball profile, listing information about your volleyball experience, teams, education, etc. College coaches use this service to find players at the bigger tournaments.  The initial information is loaded from the tournament websites, but additional information can be input by you.  It is highly recommended that you add more information about yourself, it's free!

Recruiting Registry
Rich Kern runs this website.  There is a free section where you can input your information and college coaches will have access to it.

NCAA
Everything and anything you want to know about college sports can be found here!

NCAA Eligibility Center
All prospective college athletes should be registered here at the beginning of their junior year.  This site tracks your eligibility to be a college athlete.

Bay Area Volleyball Academy is a non-profit Junior Olympic Volleyball club that is dedicated to providing an exceptional developmental and competitive volleyball experience for female players in Anne Arundel County and the surrounding counties. This program is committed to the community and promotes strong relationships between players, coaches, and parents.
